Standing on the New England Highway is Tamworth's striking tribute to its Country Music heritage. The Big Golden Guitar stands 12 metres high and is a perfect replica of the famous Country Music Award’s Golden Guitar trophies. It was unveiled by Slim Dusty who appropriately enough has won more of the real thing than anyone else. It’s great a background for a picture or two in your family album.
