Grafton Heritage Trail

Cultural

Explore early Australian Victorian and Edwardian architecture by walking or cycling the Grafton Heritage Trail.
Grafton is blessed with broad avenues, magnificent architecture and spectacular purple flowering jacaranda trees.

Walking or cycling along their streets gives visitors the opportunity to absorb and ‘feel’ Grafton’s heritage and history.

Grafton's famous Bendy Bridge, built in 1915, has a walk way which is a wonderful way to experience the mighty Clarence River, especially at sun down.

Many buildings have been classified by the National Trust including the notorious Grafton Gaol and the Christ Church Cathedral.
