Accommodation and restaurants are offered at the Novotel Lake Crackenback Resort, and Crackenback Farm Bed and Breakfast, in the Crackenback locality. Other accommodation options are available and The Wild Brumby Distillery offers gin and schnapps tasting or enjoy a meal at their cafe.

The alpine village of Thredbo sits at the base of the range. The Alpine Way is the road that takes you to this destination.
