Nestled beside the spectacular Cania Gorge National Park, the retreat offers pet-friendly powered and unpowered sites, making it easy to enjoy a nature-based holiday with your furry companion. Dogs are welcome in designated areas and selected accommodation options, subject to the park's pet policy. Check-in at Cania Gorge Tourist Retreat is from 2:00pm, and check-out is by 10:00am on the day of departure.Reception is open 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Saturday and 9:00am to 2:00pm on Sundays, with friendly staff available to assist with your arrival and stay.

Staying at Cania Gorge Tourist Retreat places you right on the doorstep of some of Queensland's most beautiful natural attractions. Popular activities include exploring Cania Gorge National Park, visiting Lake Cania, discovering the scenic landscapes of the North Burnett Region, hiking through sandstone escarpments, wildlife spotting, birdwatching, kayaking, fishing and enjoying spectacular bushwalking trails. The region is renowned for its ancient rock formations, caves, lookouts and peaceful outdoor experiences.
For both premium and low booking periods, cancellations made more than 28 days before arrival are generally eligible for a refund less a $30 administration fee. During premium periods such as school holidays, public holidays and special events, cancellations within 28 days of arrival will generally forfeit all monies paid.
