Located on the waterfront at beautiful Woodgate Beach, the Woodgate Beach Park and Playground is a great spot for families to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The park features a covered picnic area, playground equipment and plenty of open space, and is conveniently located beside the Woodgate Library and Community Hall, as well as the popular Woodgate Club.
Woodgate Beach is known for its 16 kilometres of white sandy shoreline, backed by more than 20,000 hectares of national park. Just 38 kilometres from the Bruce Highway via Goodwood and Woodgate Roads, it's a peaceful coastal escape surrounded by nature.
The area is home to abundant wildlife, with emus, brolgas and jabirus often spotted alongside kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, possums and a variety of reptiles.
