Turtle Sands is located beside a globally significant turtle nesting ground. 

These turtles are endangered or at risk, and their activities can be disturbed by human presence, lights and noise. 

We recognise how privileged we are to act as caretakers of this land, as are our visitors who share and stay on this site.
