Established in 1998 the Hervey Bay Seafood Festival is a unique and rare food experience for seafood lovers to be immersed in the provenance of every dish with a unique back story of the seafood sourced from the greater Wide Bay region.
Heroes of the wild, Sandy Straits whiting, diamond scale mullet, eastern king prawns and the legendary Hervey Bay scallops are nurtured by nature in the pristine waters of the Great Sandy strait Marine Park and the open ocean waters adjacent to the World Heritage Fraser Island (K’gari).
