Set in lovely gardens with plenty of shade trees, it is usually open during the summer months, from early December to mid-March.  There is also a toddlers’ pool, change rooms and a kiosk.

There are other picturesque and well-maintained public swimming pools at Chewton, Harcourt, Newstead and Maldon.
